House Extension and Refurbishment

The project involved the demolition of an existing lean-to extension that was in a very poor state of repair.  A new extension was constructed on roughly the same footprint, but significant structural work was undertaken to create an open-plan kitchen and dining room overlooking the rear garden.  The existing joined living and dining room was divided creating a separate living room at the front of the house and a new Utility and Shower Room in the place of the existing dining room accessed from the new kitchen.  Upstairs the existing bathroom was enlarged by moving a structural bedroom wall.

Overall a very interesting project to work on and the client achieved a very high level of finish by doing the majority of thework themselves.
